Booking your COVID-19 and flu vaccinations
Be Wise, Immunise is an NHS vaccination website offering people in the North East and North Cumbria an alternative way to book their COVID-19 and flu vaccinations at mobile and pop up clinics across the region.
Vaccinations at participating community pharmacies and GP practices can be booked on the National Booking System here
Both vaccines are safe and effective and help protect against COVID-19 and flu, which can be a serious or life-threatening illnesses. They are offered by the NHS every year to people at higher risk of getting seriously ill from COVID-19 and flu and give the best possible protection against the viruses.
Who is eligible?
COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are available for:
- adults aged 65 and over
- residents in older adult care homes
- anyone who is pregnant
- those with underlying health conditions aged 6 months to 64 years
- frontline health and social care workers
In addition, flu vaccines are also recommended for
- nursery school children aged 2-3
- school children from reception to Year 11
- close contacts of anyone who is immunocompromised.
