Last winter in England, there were 7,757 deaths from flu with 340,000 bed days taken up by flu patients. The flu vaccine is estimated to have prevented between 96,000 and 120,200 people from being hospitalised and the Flu vaccination is one of the best tools we have to protect the health of our patients and staff.

This year, at NCIC we are focussing our efforts on ensuring our staff can get their flu vaccine as quickly and easily as possible so please do not hesitate to book an appointment or contact our OH Department for information/advice any weekday between 8.30-4.30pm.
